'25 Spring Recreational League

The 2025 Spring Recreational Hockey "League" will begin on Friday, April 4. This Rec League will initially be open for 2010 - 2016 birth years. However, depending on registration numbers, we may open it up to some older players on a case-by-case basis.

Format

Rec league sessions will take place on Friday evenings from April 4 - June 6 (no sessions on May 9 or May 30). These sessions will consist of approximately 10 minutes of "free time" and/or basic warmup drills. The remaining 40 minutes will then be used for a scrimmage with randomly divided teams. All scrimmages will be NO CHECKING and will be fun, pickup-style hockey games (no refs).

Registered players will be divided into 2 groups by age and/or level of hockey experience, with one group playing from 5:30 - 6:20 pm and the other playing from 6:30 - 7:20 pm on Fridays.

Cost

$125 (goalies free!)

• Players who try out for a Phoenix tournament team, but don't make a team will have an option to register for the Rec League at a reduced rate of $100.
• The season will be open to all 2010 - 2016 birth year players that are not already rostered with a Phoenix tournament team.
• Depending on the number of goalies, goalies may need to participate on a rotating schedule.

Registration

Registration will open on Wednesday, March 19 @ 7:00 PM.

• Registration will be capped at 80 skaters and 8 goalies.
